Our client is a large heating and building services company based in Surrey.
They are currently looking for a commercial installations manager to look after
their team of commercial gas engineers.
You will be delaing with clients, primarily within the social housing sector such as councils and housing associations as well as in office staff.
The Role:
• Price and submit commercial installations works tenders
• Project management
• Introduce new cost saving initiatives and ensure that they are adhered to.
• To offer technical advice to operatives on the application of installations and surveys
• Involvement in the recruitment of commercial installation operatives
• Preparation of reports.
• Other duties as required by Directors
Key Attributes:
• Previous experience in a similar role with a technical background is essential.
• Experience of working with Housing Associations and local authorities would be preferential.
• Excellent written and oral communication and good IT skills.
• Relevant Gas Safe qualifications on par with field operatives.
• The ability to work under pressure within a fast paced environment.
• A high level of commercial acumen and a strategic thinker.
