Javascript Developer
My client, a global software company, is currently looking for 3 experienced full stack Javascript Developers to join their existing team.
The clients current application has an existing set of low level API s, built in Scala, that are wrapped up and exposed to the web app using Node.js. The web app itself is a single page application using Angular.js and as such solid Node and Angular experience is essential for the role. Given the clients extensive use of Scala, there is opportunity for cross training to Scala for the right individual.
Key skills/experience:
Minimum 2 years as a web app dev using Javascript/HTML/CSS etc
Solid Javascript knowledge including various libraries and frameworks
Good knowledge of Node.js
Good knowledge of AngularJS
An understanding of HTTP REST based protocols and JSON are a must
Any experience with MongoDB is HIGHLY desirable
Personal traits:
Worked in a full stack environment and can happily debug from DB to Browser
Comfortable using Scrum workflows within JIRA
A real developer interested in new tech
Interest in open solutions, and willing to contribute back to community
Keen interest in Functional Programming principles.
