A superb opportunity has arisen with a well know management consultancy that focuses on procurement for both top FSTE private sector clients, along with public sector assignments to consolidate IT spend.
They are looking for an experienced, rounded IT procurement expert that has had as wider exposure to Software, Hardware, Telco, BPO and Services. You will be working on long term assignments and working in-house for on-going procurement advice & management.
The role overview:
Run full sourcing processes, RFP activity to continuous SRM
Focus on all areas of IT spend for whichever client you are working with at the time
Lead contract negotiations and re-negotiations where necessary
You will be working with multiple clients at one time, so it will be fast paced
Responsible for drafting new contracts for clients, or re-drafting existing ones
Majority of your work will be within London - occasionally outside of London
Get exposure to mostly private sector but also working under OJEU
Form short-term & long-term relationships with IT stakeholders for clients
Experience required:
Proven experience within IT procurement and across all subcategories
Client facing / consultancy experience is preferable
Experience in managing the entire procurement process, sourcing, full RFP to SRM
Worked on multiple sourcing / SRM projects at one time
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Able to advise on new potential strategies you can implement into company's
CIPS, degree or relevant qualification preferable
