We are currently looking for a Pre-sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Support for a leading, forward thinking network manufacturer. The role sits in their internet service (ISP) division working with CPE`s, fixed line and wireless technology. The role is based in Reading but will require European travel twice a month.
SALARY: £50,000-55,000, OTE; £10,000
BENEFITS: £6000.00 car allowance, Pension, healthcare and holiday

JOB SPECIFICATION:
• Build the Service Provider Business in the UK and Europe
• Understand and deliver on products that cross pollinate from fixed line, including Connected Home, LTE, Cable, Switching into accounts in the UK and Europe
• The Pre-Sales Engineer/ Pre- Sales Support will be In charge of managing the flow of necessary information for all new products delivered to the European market and in addition will have responsibility for topics below:
* RFx response.
* RFx presentations.
* Project Management.
* Firmware Specification and debugging.
* Firmware trunk development with ownership for specific SP accounts firmware requests.
• Carry out training for SP teams across Europe on CPE, Wireless, Switching, LTE, Cable via Webex.
• Assist SP Country Heads in development of new accounts and report to them whilst in country.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The Pre-Sales Engineer/ Pre-Sales Support should have considerable experience working in an environment that encompasses Core Network Build, MSAN, DSLAM, BRAS, LTE, TR-069, CPE.
• A good understanding of testing new CPE devices and firmware is mandatory for this role.
• In addition to the above, a good understanding of protocols and transmission is desirable.
• The Pre-Sales Engineer/ Pre-sales Support should have experience at presenting to C-Level clients.
• The Pre-sales Engineer/ Pre-Sales Support should also have a good understanding of chipset evolution across fixed line xDSL but also Cable, wireless and LTE.
