Software Team Leader, C# .NET - Oxford - up to £60K

My client have an urgent need for C#.NET Software Team Lead. Based in North Oxfordshire in a beautiful scenic location, they have developed an innovative new system for the global logistics industry. As the Team lead you will guiding the development team to create outstanding software and ensuring project priorities and timescales are met.

Using a combination of software, hardware and mechanical designs the system enables tyre pressure to be tested without human interaction using sensors. Work is currently in progress developing new products involving the use of image processing techniques. There will be opportunities to be involved in the capture and processing of Real Time data along with Back End database design and interface development and the development of algorithms.

Required Skills and Experience

• Development software architectures for new products
• Ideally a Degree in Computer Science or similar subject or relevant work experience.
• Development experience of Object Oriented Design using C#.NET (preferred 5.0).
• Experience of Test Driven Development.
• 5+ years commercial experience.
• Experience developing for Windows platform (Windows 7 preferred).
• Practical experience working to coding standards.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• SQL or NoSQL databases (MongoDb, CouchDb, etc.)
• Use of version control software (SVN, GIT, etc)
• Managing offshore development teams
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to be productive without direct supervision
