A leading independent healthcare provider is currently recruiting for a Theatre Manager to oversee the Operating Theatre Department in their Harrow based facility.

This position is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, predominantly on days but working a range of shifts as required by the department.

The salary on offer is up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience and comes alongside a fantastic staff benefits package which includes a healthcare and dental plan, a staff pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance and opportunities for on-going training and development.

Applicants should meet the following criteria;

• Registered General Nurse or Registered Theatre Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration
• Extensive experience within a senior role in an Operating Theatre, working closely with Consultants to maintain and enhance services
• Have successfully completed a relevant Theatre or Anaesthetic qualification, along with having completed post-registration studies such as a Masters or BSc
• Expert clinical skills and knowledge over a wide range of clinical competencies and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and develop the department. Ideally you will have completed a recognised managerial qualification.
• Good financial management skills with understanding of the need to balance the provision of care whilst efficiently managing budgets and res

In this role you will oversee the day to day clinical and operational management of the Operating Department, ensuring a safe and effective service is provided which follows best practices of patient care. You will manage staff, encouraging, developing and enhancing the skills and knowledge of the team as a whole along with identifying any areas where improvements or developments can be made to the service.
