Role Overview:

Within GTB the ICSS (Institutional Cash and Securities Services) businesses provide trust, agency, depository, custody, fund administration and related services to a range of corporate, financial institutions and asset managers globally.

You will take responsibility for delivering complex projects/programmes which may also require multi-region/global co-ordination. In addition you will lead and oversee a range of revenue-generating, client-facing, strategic, operational and regulatory initiatives. To be successful in the role you will need to be able to liaise effectively between ICSS Business, Sales and Product Management representatives as well with infrastructure partners in GTO (Group Technology and Operations). Along with this you will liaise with Legal, Compliance, Tax and Finance to ensure project delivery commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aligning current and planned initiatives against ICSS strategic priorities

• Delivering strategically-aligned initiatives within the ICSS change portfolio

• You will have end to end responsibility for all aspects of assigned projects, in particular defining and planning the project, managing mobilisation and controlling execution

• Managing senior stakeholders across ICSS businesses, business partners and infrastructure groups to ensure alignment of objectives, approach and execution

• Setting up and co-ordinating robust governance, aligned to the requirements of assigned projects

• Reporting of project/programme statuses and escalating risks or issues to senior management as appropriate

  You will have:

• A proven track record of execution and delivering complex change

• Extensive Transaction Banking experience, specifically in the securities services space and/or consulting area

• A good understanding of the core products that constitute the ICSS product portfolio

• A well developed approach to quickly assimilate knowledge in relation to how ICSS Products are manufactured and distributed (front-to-back processes).

• Knowledge of key market/regulatory trends impacting ICSS would also be beneficial

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to digest, organise and summarise large amounts of data

• Experience in Target Operating Mode design and implementation

• A demonstrable track-record in the end-to-end delivery of large, complex change initiatives

• Strong influencing, partnering and leadership skills with the demonstrable experience of running delivery teams both from a business and infrastructure perspective

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build, influence and challenge the status quo with senior stakeholders in a Matrix environment

• Experience of setting-up and running senior and high-profile governance forums

You will be:

• An experienced project or Programme Manager with strong understanding of different programme management tools and techniques

• An experienced team leader with ability to organise, motivate and challenge teams to deliver to pre-defined objectives

• Able to balance competing priorities and deliver according to strict time and quality standards

• Able to digest complex issues and set a course of action (that others are prepared to follow) to meet specific goals

• Able to work pro-actively by yourself and with minimal supervision as well as part of a team

• Assertive and engaging and able to quickly build and maintain strong working relationships

• A very committed individual with a strong work ethic and a strong desire to succeed

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Ideally with a professional qualification

• Able to travel as short notice as and when required
