We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and results-focused individual to join the Smart Energy Code Administrator and Secretariat (SECAS) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a transformational change within the Energy industry that will affect every household in Great Britain. The SECAS Administrator role provides administrative and analytical support to the delivery of Smart contracts, primarily the SECAS contract, and actively supports a range of technical secretariat services (including meeting administration, record and file maintenance). The successful candidate will require strong writing skills, be able to read and summarise technical information, and be confident to engage with stakeholders. Candidates may be a recent graduate or may have gained some experience within a regulated industry, and wish to carve a role and develop a successful future in this dynamic industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The SECAS Administrator will sit within the Energy department, consisting of a team of supportive, enthusiastic and engaging young professionals, with a fantastic sense of team spirit and good humour. Their role will be intregal to ensuring the smooth operation of the SECAS contract and include the following responsibilities:

? Support preparation of presentations, briefs, and supporting presentations at industry meetings;
? Supporting the general management of stakeholder meetings and working groups, including providing technical secretariat services;
? Supporting preparation of briefs and supporting presentations at industry meetings;
? Assists in drafting of documentation, including procedures, consultation responses and documents required for clients;
? Supporting governance practices and processes;
? Liaison with industry stakeholders, including regulatory and governance bodies; and
? Maintaining strong client relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a business/technical degree or professional qualification and/or regulatory and operational experience gained within a regulated industry. In addition they must also have the following qualities:

? Strong written, verbal and numeracy skills;
? Focus on attention to detail and quality of own work;
? Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a particular focus on quality;
? Communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;
? Good team interaction and interpersonal skills.
