Our client are a National independent connections provider, currently going through a period of exponential growth
You will be responsible for undertaking the preparation of detailed drawings using AutoCAD associated with the construction and installation of New Electricity Contestable Connections up to and including 33/66kV.
Reporting to the Design & Planning Manager to:
• Support CAD Supervisor and Design and Planning Manager with improvements and developments of CAD processes and procedures.
• Deputise for the CAD supervisor when required.
• Ability to develop drawing standards and templates.
• Mentor and monitoring of junior staff and their performance and support requirements.
• Advanced CAD Skills.
• Production of CAD drawings to a high quality in accordance with UK Power Solutions CAD standards.
• Coordination with other CAD technicians in the production of drawings
• Ability to understand and apply design within the remit of individual projects.
• Willing, keen and able to develop expertise in the design area
• Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with UK Power Solutions Business Management Systems and customer requirements/procedures
