Commercial Analyst - Finance and Risk - Canary Wharf/London - Technical Services and Connectivity

Commercial Analyst required to join one of the world's leading s of intelligent information and software solutions. An opportunity has arisen within a team which manages around 100 telecom vendors with an annual spend in excess of $450 million. Based in Canary Wharf, the role offers an attractive £35-40,000 base salary per annum plus benefits.

Key Skills

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA professional. You will have experience operating as an analytical professional with a focus on finance and commercials. You will have excellent Microsoft Excel skills, as well as planning and organisation. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will need to be able to build rapport and trust with internal and external clients. You should be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment, with the ability to identify and propose solutions to resolve issues. Knowledge or experience of the telecoms industry is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for financial forecasting and reporting, cost centre management and accruals and prepayments. You will assist budget owners to meet targets by delivering in-depth, timely and agile reporting. Duties also include vendor management and analysis, vendor RFP analysis, bespoke vendor reporting and vendor payment management. You will give close management of the group's highest profile vendor account and major contract renewal analysis and benchmarking. The role also involves cost consolidation and dispute management.
