My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Principal Hydrologist who specialises in Flood Estimation and Modelling using ISIS and Tuflow to join an established team of specialists based in Southwark.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving chartered status.
Applicants are required to have approximately 8 years+ experience completing or managing Hydrological, Flood Risk, River and Drainage Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies or Private Sector Clients.
It is also essential for applicants to specialise in Hydrology and/or Hydraulic Modelling using ISIS, Tuflow or InfoWorks ICM and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Estimation and Drainage Strategy.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects, completing bid proposals and developing new business opportunities.
As a Principal Consultant you will join a large Team of specialist Consultants based in modern offices within walking distance of the River Thames. As a Principal team member you will be expected to part-manage Hydrological, Flood Risk, Drainage, Modelling and River Engineering Projects for Local Authorities and Water Companies.
The role will also involve mentoring team members, preparing bid proposals and completing Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Flood Estimation, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategies and Hydraulic Modelling using ISIS and Tuflow.
