An exciting opportunity has opened up with my client, a Marketing Technology company based in Plymouth. They are looking for a Campaign Operations Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have the technical knowledge of a programmer/developer and the ability to explain technical issues.

The position will involve monitoring customer campaigns on the Live Platform, and bidding on advertisement space in Real Time.

Your duties will be to:

• Create and setup client advertising campaigns
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client's campaign requirements
• Consistently keep internal teams informed of campaign updates and relevant client communications both verbal and written
• Develop good working relationships by communicating and report to an internal commercial audience essential campaign criteria with no loss of meaning
• Use initiative to formulate and articulate questions and proactively confirming Client requirements by collaborating directly with the Customer
• Liaise with clients and communicate effectively any feedback, to align customer business priorities and improve our overall campaign support
• Demonstrate business awareness and Provide technical support pre/post sales accounts
• Act as primary client contact for troubleshooting and resolution of client campaign configuration issues

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced at understanding technical information and relaying it in a variety of formats for divergent audiences
• Organised and adaptive with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, and ever-changing priorities
• Meticulous and able to demonstrate care and attention to detail in processing client requirements
• Experienced in dealing with customers and understanding their requirements
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative skills to understand business information used by clients in their day-to-day activities
• Highly responsive and detailed with all communications, escalating appropriately
• Able to challenge details/information through technical understanding and articulation
• Experienced in a technical support role
• Familiar with HTML, JavaScript or Flash

Desired:

• Strong understanding or willingness to learn about all campaign management aspects and technologies, including ad serving, creative types & pixels
• Experience in a programming or Scripting language
• Sales skills/experience
• Familiar with working in a Linux environment
• Adept at learning new technology
