Has practical experience in one or more area of management accounting, cost analysis, planning and budgeting, financial accounting or the preparation of statutory accounts. Experience of working in a financial accounting role or of Government and/or healthcare accounting an advantage.
Key tasks and deliverables
The post holders will undertake work on the Department's consolidated group account, primarily on the Agreement of Balances process. This is a key priority in achieving the Group Financial Management Divisional objective of producing an unqualified account pre-recess. The work will directly contribute to this and the temporary staff members will work primarily on the client Agreement of Balances process to ensure that the mismatches between client and the Group are kept to a minimum, and will work to resolve any issues. This will involve working on Finance systems, Excel and dealing with issues from other Group Bodies.
