This leading consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic, fast paced team in London. This company provides a full range of planning services to primarily private sector clients in Central London.
You will be working for a variety of clients, including developers and landowners, providing development management services and skills including planning applications and appeals within the residential, commercial and healthcare sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and committed planner to contribute to the continued growth of this company's team.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Town Planner you will:
Prepare and deliver planning and development appraisals, planning applications, planning appeals
Provide professional advice to a range of clients
Work as part of a team on a variety of projects
Responsible for some small scale, less complex projects
Support the more senior members of staff on their larger, more complex projects Qualifications:
As a Senior Town Planner you will have:
Degree in relevant field
Full membership to RTPI (MRTPI)
Extensive post qualification experience, ideally in a mix of public and private sector roles
Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office and ADOBE suite of programmes
Good report writing skills and excellent business English with good attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Client focused
Excellent inter-personal communication skills
