My client, an international multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Technical Director to manage an established Hydrology and Hydraulic Modelling Team based in Central London.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving chartered status.
Applicants are required to have 10 years+ experience managing teams and Hydrological, Flood Risk and Drainage Projects, preparing bid proposals and developing new business opportunities with Public or Private Sector Clients.
It is also essential for applicants to specialise in Flood Risk, Flood Estimation and Hydraulic Modelling using ISIS, Tuflow and/or InfoWorks ICM.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience working on River or Coastal Engineering Projects.
This exciting Technical Director position will offer candidates the opportunity to join and lead an established Hydrology Team based in Westminster, Central London. As a Technical Director you will be required to manage and mentor a team of Hydrologists and manage large scale Flood Risk, Hydrological, River and Fluvial Modelling Projects for Local Authorities and Water Companies.
The role will also involve mentoring team members, checking designs and providing technical advice to team to ensure Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Flood Estimation, Surface Water Management Plans and Drainage Strategies are completed effectively.
As a Technical Director you will also be expected to prepare Bid Proposals and develop new business opportunities with both public and private sector Clients.
