Sharepoint .NET Developer/Lead Software Developer/Sharepoint/SQL/
The main focus of the role will be to create and maintain in-house developments and applications. Manage permanent and contract software developers who will also be developing these systems. They will also improve and develop generic processes for developing applications, keeping up to date with new technology relevant to delivering Line of Business applications advising on potential changes to the core development stack.
This is a permanent role paying £46k per annum plus very generous pension up to 21%, up to 20% bonus for top performers.
Specific Skills required:
• Design and Development with SharePoint 2010, 2013, .NET C# with emphasis on using Visual Studio 2010, 2012.
• Development of custom web parts and pages, custom content types, event receivers, site and list definitions, C# Code libraries etc. through Visual Studio for SharePoint.
• Creating Content Types using Declarative XML
• Development of Workflows and other artefacts through SharePoint Designer and packaging them for deployment.
• SharePoint 2010/2013 Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Maintenance.
• Creating WCF Services and Ajax calls using jQuery
• Reporting through Performance Point and SSRS.
• Any ASP.NET MVC, Windows Form, Microsoft CRM knowledge and experience will be an advantage
• Be proficient in the use of the technologies across the Microsoft Technology stack like C#, ASP.NET, CRM 2013, JQuery, JavaScript, TDD, Mocking, MS Test or NUnit
• Be aware of new and emerging technologies and tools relevant to SharePoint 2010/2013, Asp.NET MVC and JavaScript library such as KnockOut.js
• Ensure high quality SQL code is developed by collaborating with the DBA team where required for SSRS reports reported through PerformancePoint.
• Produce documentation for the handover and support of applications for the Release Manager and Production Support teams.
