The key purpose of the Head of Business Insight within this team is to produce and present the programme financials and demonstrate the impact on the latest financial forecast as well as produce the wider COO dashboard. They should lead their team to delivery real analysis and insight on both of these areas as well as identifying new change opportunities, creating big data analysis and wider external insight than currently exists across the group.

Our client is a UK based personal lines insurer with over 2 million active policies. They have grown immensely over the last decade and are effectively creating a brand new department in order to utilise the data they have accumulated.

Description

• Cost, benefit analysis, design and implementation, full build of key levers impacting financial model and creating a full methodology and implementation of the basis for all costs and benefits, embedding this within the business
• High-level stakeholder management will be an integral part of this role
• Producing KPI
• Reporting
• Leading a team of analysts to deliver objectives
• Interpreting grey requirements and delivering refined information, accompanied with insightful analysis and business acumen
• Team development coaching and skilling analytical experts with the latest technology on big data and tools
• The ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms where appropriate

Profile

• Proven track record in an analysis role, ideally gained within a commercial environment
• Significant line/people management experience
• Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of statistical software packages
• A well-organised and logical approach, with attention to detail and good communication skills are essential

Job Offer
