An opportunity exists for a Sales Project Manager - based from home and covering the UK - to join a leading manufacturer of innovative pipe fittings and couplings. The company has 28 branches worldwide, employing over 3,000 people.
SALARY: Up to £45,000

LOCATION: Home based, covering UK
JOB SPECIFICATION:
* This role is responsible for supporting the effective execution of short and long term sales goals through effective tracking of regional, national and global cross-functional projects, predominantly within the Building Services / HVAC arena.
* Whilst you will not have direct reports, a key part of the role will require you to build internal relationships with the Sales team and forge mutual respect.
* Reporting directly to the Vice President EMEA - based in Belgium you will be working on multiple projects (typically 5 – 15 projects at any one time) which can vary in size and value.
* The company has an office in the Home Counties, which is where the UK operation is based.
As a Project Manager – Sales your remit will include:
* Collaborating with sales, to develop strategies and goals to support the timely and successful execution of sales projects
* Bid date management - Control point between influence and execution on all major projects in the division.
* Ensuring strategic timeline sales events are being managed in each influence stage with all appropriate sales team leaders.
* Follow through that all specific concepts and major product categories are being included in Scope of work.
* Build relationships with general contractors and others deemed appropriate by divisional manager.
* Maintain a level of constant and effective communication with sales leaders, RSM`s and key stakeholders on key project timelines.
REQUIREMENTS - Project Manager - Sales
* Qualified in Engineering/Business Administration/Construction Management or related field.
* Experience in project and/or product management.
* Knowledge of the construction / Building Services industry, beneficial.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Solid analytical and Microsoft Office skills.
* Team-oriented and ability to work with a wide range of internal departments.
* Self-starter who is able to work independently with little direction.
