IT Support Executive / Helpdesk Advisor - London

An IT Support Executive / Helpdesk Advisor is needed to join an award winning backup and cloud service provider in South West London. Joining the data protection team expect an exciting fast paced role with excellent career progression.

Joining as an IT Support Executive / Helpdesk Advisor you will be part of a team that proactively monitors customer backups and helps customers get back on their feet under tight timelines. Whether you are managing multiple customer cases; helping customers to install, configure, use and upgrade software; providing regular progress updates; or troubleshooting and resolving software application issues, you will be the voice of the company, providing an excellent customer experience.

To qualify... We are looking for an IT Support Executive / Data Protection Engineer / First Line Support Advisor / First Line Helpdesk Engineer or similar who can demonstrate:

- A helpful attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Motivation to learn and improve your professional skills;
- An ability to explain technical issues simply and concisely using non-technical terminology;
- A natural problem solver with a passion for working with customers;
- A level or similar in an IT related subject.


Experience in a similar IT customer support role would be advantageous.

The job requires a 37.5 hour working week of 7.5 hours per day with staggered shifts starting between 7am and 9:30am. You will also be expected to join an on-call rota after approximately three months in the business (salary supplement and overtime pay will apply).
